Case: Marquee TV

Scaling a Niche Streaming Platform Across Seven Channels

Marquee TV uses Delta to power a highly tailored multi-platform workflow – distributing niche performing arts content to Apple TV+, Amazon Prime, Linear TV and their own D2C platform. With custom APIs and metadata enhancements, Delta supports Marquee TV’s need for flexibility, scale and precision.

About

SVOD FILM SERVICE
Marquee TV is an international streaming service specializing in the performing arts. The platform offers a rich and curated collection of ballet, opera, theater, classical music, dance, and more – with hundreds of films and series available to subscribers worldwide.

Challenge

As one of Delta’s most advanced users, Marquee TV distributes content to seven different platforms – including Apple TV+, Amazon Prime, Linear TV, and its own direct-to-consumer streaming service, which pulls data via the Delta API. Managing such a broad and diverse publishing workflow required a high level of flexibility and customization.

Solution

To support Marquee TV’s needs, we developed a REST API that provides access to all relevant data, allowing them to decide what content is shown on each platform. As their distribution expanded, we integrated additional export options – including a custom EPG data API for Linear TV, and Apple TV+ exports that follow Apple’s approval process. Given Marquee TV’s niche focus, we also added specialized metadata fields to Delta, tailored specifically to their content and publishing requirements.
